I googled it and it said "no" So we agree 38 isn't shopworn.

So I'm trying to think of a 38 year old fighter Mayweather fought. Let me think, oh Shane Mosley I think was 38.

So we can agree Shane Mosley was in his prime when Mayweather fought him.

So there's one prime HOFer Floyd fought, right?

You can't cherrypick your way to being a 5X, 4 weight lineal world champion.

The only way you can become lineal champion is to beat the reigning champion or, if it's vacant, to win a fight between the unanimous top two guys in a given weight class. Floyd did it five times. Davis has done it zero times.

The only two men in the history of boxing to become lineal champion in four weight divisions are Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. If it were an accomplishment you could cherrypick your way to, that list would be absolutely massive.

Even if you lower the standard to three weight lineal champions, the list of men who have accomplished that is still incredibly short and incredibly impressive. Bob Fitzsimmons, Henry Armstrong, Barney Ross, Tony Canzoneri, Sugar Ray Leonard, Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Manny Pacqiao, and Terence Crawford. That's it. In the entire history of boxing.

Ok but you said Tank fought more prime fighters.

Who are these prime fighters Tank fought? Name them.

No I don't. I thought you said it was 38 but then you said it's not. Then instead of just answering whether 38 is shopworn or not you said google it and google said no.

            So 38, shopworn or not?

Bro those 3 guys are VASTLY better than anybody tank has ever been in with. The first time in tank career he ever fought a fighter within the top 5 of his division was Frank Martin who was #5 exactly. I like Frank Martin but he’s never been in or won a big fight ever.

                • He's entitled to his opinion, especially if it concerns him.

How did Floyd and Tank drift apart, by the way?

If you go by who they beat and when they beat them, Floyd only has one or two noteworthy names but his career is over

Not buying it. Those slow flat footed come forward fighters are tailor made for Mayweather, and he still goes the distance. Needed for Ortiz to drop his guard to put him down
