bah fanlets blamed floyd for holding him back somehow but reality tank didnt want to pay floyd any more most likely LOL ellerbe let the cat out of the bag anyhow when he said tank fights who he wants and calls the shots

I dont think he should wait till 2025 to retire tho. Just go get an early start.
Everyone seems to be fighting on PPV these days but I doubt this fight puts up a big number. I can’t even tell you the date of this fight. And like I said earlier I’m a fan of Tank.

I’m not sure if that’s true but something is holding him back.

              You know what?

I'm completely fine with him saying this.

It was Floyd and his TBE dxckriders who created this dude this way, so y'all deal with him

Oh yeah tough guy? Would you say that looking him directly eye to eye? More to the point, are you five foot three? If you are not you may well not be able to do so... So let me rephrase the question: "Oh yeah tough guy? would you say that, after handing him a good sized stool, or chair, and looking at him eye to eye?"

better think twice... Tank, like Bruce Lee had other vocations! He happens to be the Baltimore champion for the United Street Curb handball association, where handball matches off the street curbs are organized into competitions.

Symptomatic of this modern need to not lose a fight. It destroyed Hatton imo. After he beat Zoo in an incredible performance allegedlly his father made a big stink about not losing (He was undefeated at the time if memory is correct). In subsequent fights he became a dry humping mess, from brutal combinations to, one punch and grab.

Tank has been made to believe not losing a fight makes a legacy.

Mixed blessings are the bane of existence... We wanted fighters to have more control over their careers after watching King destroy guys, along comes Oscar with his ideas, and Satanic Bob Arum smelling his own f a r ts, sensed a change in the wind. Suddenly getting two guys in the ring meant getting Satanic Bob out of the picture, and convincing different promoters to work together. Alphabet soup loved it... Now everyone could be a champion, all these chiefs! no Braves! Fans hardly knew better soon enough, buying the fights despite the obvious real fights that meant anything.

Examples? Frank martin... Talked this guy up and up... Frank was, is, a decent fighter, not a real calibre opponent that could threaten a champion. And even when two guys got in the ring, the conditions were insane... How was Garcia supposed to stand up for 12 rounds, much less fight competatively in his weight drained state he came in at?

It is a blessing fighters have some control, but alas, at what cost?
