I'm not gonna cry if Teo's nastiness prevents him from getting big fights and he fades back into obscurity. But it seems pretty artificial considering how racist many top boxers are, and how little that matters when there's money to be made. Ryan Garcia for instance... Devin Haney got plenty of fights despite his racist comments. It's absolutely rife in the sport and among the fans.

To be clear, I was not defending Teo. My post was in response to the guy above who argued that it was racist for black fighters to wear sombreros (and similar). I do believe the entire world is obsessed with race and racism to the point that they cannot stomach the most minor criticism of any group. I do believe that racism will exist all the way up till the last two people on the planet are left, so I have no expectation that anything that anyone does or tries to impose will change the way people feel about each other. Human beings are hardwired to hate the differences in others.Comment

Some lines shouldn’t be crossed. Sending a basket of bananas and a watermelon to a black fighter is one of them.Comment

While I respect your opinion; However, I must strongly disagree on how to teach him a lesson. You don’t reward bad behavior with good.
The best way of teaching this racist prick a lesson is through shunning and ostracizing him; Like the brothers are doing. As he continues to crawl on all fours begging them for a fight.Comment

Anyone can be a bigot. Racism/white supremacy is a system of power and domination of all areas of human activity. Racism/white supremacy is the oldest and most established form of “dei” and affirmative action in history.Comment

He needs a new promoter in order to help build up his brand because his current one has failed to do so. Perhaps he could use a personality transplant in order to captivate the mainstream's audience attention.
