Then perhaps an argument could be made that Fury winning over Wilder may have been due to Wilder's lacking more than Fury's ability... But Fury fought well against Usyk. Fury also beat a younger Klitsko and put on a master class...

Essentially people want to credit Joshua for a few more wins and forget some significant losses he had... they also neglect to pay attention to mutual opponents of the two fighters. Chisora was a tougher fight for Usyk than Joshua!
I'm not sure the point here making here.

You said he lost some of those fights lol but fighters lose. He also beat Ruiz handily in the rematch, unified against Parker and beat Wlad for the WBA. While also betaing way better opponents in his run.

Fury only had 3 world class opponents in the division at best...thats Wlad, Usyk and Wilder or Whyte.

Then you say Fury beat chisora as if it means something while AJ sparked out a much better version of Whyte.

I honestly don't get the Fury love from largely an American base, maybe it's because you only saw him vs Wilder.

Historically, Americans have respected UK fighters who go to America and win fights more, and AJ only had one night in america which was a bad one so that's why.

This is probably where we disagree... We have very different ideas about world class.

In my universe Joshua beat more of the general talent in a weak division... When he fought "world class opposition" he was stopped. With exceptions like Klitsko. But nothing that shows him being better than Fury. And yes part of the argument hinges on Wilder... when he was able versus the shot fighter people want to say was always the same... I disagree with that premise.

Yeah I know but it's just nonsense yet again. It's been about 20 years since the world's best Heavyweights have been European.

Fury's always been a little overrated. Compare the opponents he shared with AJ.
            Klitschko, Whyte, Wallin, Johnson, Ngannou.
AJ knocked all 5 guys out.
Fury only knocked out 1. Past prime Whyte. All the others went the distance with Fury. Wallin gave him trouble and many thought Ngannou beat him.
The records speak for themselves at this point.

              - - Blubber fled to America because he couldn't draw flies in comparison to AJ who revived Boxing and was selling out stadiums.

Great, he exposed one trick pony Deyonce who was milking Boxing with TBA short notice fights that Haymon kept in his in house stable.

Now Blubber's blubber got old and yellered, like a greased pig sliding down the chute to the slaughter house...B00msky!!!

Idk that Fury ever demonstrated the the level of dominance that he and his fans claim. Looking back, we can all acknowledge that he was very good, but hardly great heavyweight champion. He struggled a bit too regularly with average (or completely novice) opposition to believe that he was a sure fire bet against the rest of the HW field. Does Fury beat AJ and Dubois? I doubt it. Does he even beat Parker or Kabayel? At this stage, I’d bet against him.

I would bet for him against them all.

But that is my opinion only, because Fury won˙t be back anyway, execept maybe for Joshua fight.

I am pretty sure he knocks Joshua out.

Dubois is a statue target, Fury would love it.

Parker and kabayel would be the best competition.
