I hate to admit it, but since Turki has taken over at The Ring, their website is the one I prefer reading for fresh news about fighters from each and every continent, at various levels of fame.

This place, with ridiculous AI censorship and all the rest, has become much less fun.

US boxing is on it’s ass tbf. PBC can’t get dates and do like 5 shows a year. TR seemingly have a pretty limited budget on ESPN. Most of the big fights go to Saudi. Warren and Hearn are the two most influential promoters at the moment too.

Golden Boy does quite a few shows , albeit small ones in California
There pretty active but besides that it is quiet on the front
Canada also is quite active but still regional mostly but very good crowds for regional events

If we are going to marginalize coverage of US boxing in favor of other countries then why not cover Mexico and Japan more? Why does it have to be weighed so much towards the UK?

Mexican boxers especially, they could use more media spotlight I’m sure. And the best ones usually end up in the U.S. market or whipping British ass when they are brought over there as opponents. It would be nice to be able to follow that journey from the early beginnings.

Wouldn't be bad if Ring bought BS and Boxrec and just owned news, communtiy, and records.

Are we even still the largest community?

A lot of the homies I see on BF24. Some dudes I only see on politically speaking
