Disappointing that a legitimate contender would help validate this off brand low rent belt

Ultimately the Regular title is nothing more than a glorified mandatory position, but it is in-fact the Mandatory, so it is the easiest way to get a shot at the title right now.

Of course, It should have never been in the hands of someone of Pulev's level, but hopefully they can retire the title after the next Regular-Super fight, like they tried to do after Dubois, but then Charr won his legal case...

This is a logical management step for Wardley.

The WBA continues to fall in grandeur & importance. Such a tragedy .

So the various alphabet boys continue award "regular" and "interim" titles unabated despite there being active champions? What a complete scam!

Could be a golden ticket - you never know what is going to happen on the heavyweight landscape with rumours of Usyk returning to cruiserweight. If that happens the winner of Pulev vs wardley could be fighting for the vacant wba super title down the line.

Not according to my dear friend Duh!gum, I mean Daggum... Those Alphabet belts rank fighters you see? You pull some Eurobum out of a closet, Like Wallen, Kubrat, Wach, and presto!! smack em aroun a bit, (nobody has to get hurt!), then you is a champ! then Ring ranks you accordingly! As the people that really know how to work the patronage.... err who really know boxing? real objectively like... Ring magazine and alphabet soup are what greatness is all about!

never mind that if you watch a typical fight, even a few "champs" they throw 5 punches a round, gas in 4 rounds, compared to watching a fighter in the division from the 70's, dancing, throwing all punches, lasting for 15 rounds sometimes... But hey! Ring and Dug!gum know what really counts!!!

YES! That PULEV!!! Scary fighter!!! Almost as scary as Wach! Wardley better get even worse! He started out dancing, using distance, setting up his shots, then improved against Clark, throwing one punch at a time, gassing, not even bothering to move when Clark returned fire... Can he deevolve a little more to face the Pulev menace?! enquiring minds want to know!

Fight Jalolov instead and let's see what either have got when 'stepping' up.
