    Joe Joyce needs to retire

I know he has always been awkward and such but this guy has brain damage, dementia or something seriously wrong with him.

Every time I see him being interviewed ringside he is talking then blanks out mid-sentence and starts looking around and being all confused.

I don't know what it is exactly but this is not anxiety, ADHD or just being awkward, this man is legitimately damaged and needs his license revoked for his own good.

Hope he's had one too many drinks (if he drinks)...if not, he's gotta ask himself some hard questions. I saw he was distracted by Whyte's interview within arm's reach and the moment Chisora's post-fight interview started.

Wallin also needs to retire. If that is all he got against 41 old Chisora, than..

I also remember that really weird slip vs Chisora
Maybe I need to see it from another angle but it was like his brain just completely shut off for a second.

He seems like a nice guy but his team, family, someone needs to look out for him.

I can not even recall a more obvious case of something being quite clearly wrong with a fighter since the latter stages of Ali's career

            Agree with this.
Kind of nuts to think this guy arguably should have had a TKO win over Fury and gave him hell and beat Gassiev even if he does have serious limitations.

I thought Chisora looked horrible yet it was his best performance in years and years and I think you can only really put it down to Wallin being that bad.
Tentative, pulling straight back, no spite whatsoever, horrible performance.
Chisora was spot on in the face off when he told him he hadn't no dog in him.

I’ve thought this for a while.

                He's always been like that.

                Pretty sure it's ASD.

Regardless, he's taken a lot of shots to the head now. He should've called it a day after the Chisora fight. He'd probably struggle at European level now

There will always be a place for 2nd tier boxers, gatekeepers, and journeymen. That is how the future generation of boxers will gain the rounds and experience and position themselves even if these boxers have shown their limits. Otherwise, anyone losing 2-3 fights in a row should "retire" and we will be left with only a handful of boxers. Besides, boxing is all these people know so unless they have a plan B or are getting seriously hurt, they don't have anywhere to go to. Everyone wants to hang around to make as much money as possible, particularly now that boxing has money.

Asking boxers to retire after losing fights is like asking employees who do not get promoted to CEOs to retire. There is going to be one CEO and a handful of senior management but the rest of the employees will remain regular workers and take home their wages to feed their families. Not everyone would like or can afford to retire.

If Joe joyce wants to be champ then retire, I don't think he's good enough.now. If he's fighting for other reasons then only Joyce can decide
