If you think Canelo suddenly wants to fight Benavidez in 2026 when he is 36 years old, I have a bridge to sell you.

Why wouldn't he? Floyd beat Canelo at 36.

Because Canelo has been ducking David for 3 years already, and still won't fight him, so the idea he will age himself out makes no logical sense.

Do you really think Canelo would live with the 77 body shots that Benny landed on Morell last week at 36 years old? Yes Canelo moves his head well but he doesn't move his body...

And if he doesn’t fight Benavidez?

I don`t think Canelo will fight Benavidez as the part of this deal. He has been ducking benny for 3 years. It makes absolutely zero sense for Canelo to age himself out for Benavidez. Are you guys nuts?

Maybe, just maybe, he fights Bivol in 2026, if Bivol loses to Beterbiev again.

I am sure Turki didn`t offer this to Canelo for fighting guys like Surace/Charlo/Pacheco, Mbili..

                It will be interesting.

At first, I disagreed with the notion that Beterbiev defeats Benavidez but after watching the replay of Benavidez/Morrell; Now I am not too sure.

Even though Benny threw and landed a lot of punches on Morrell but Morrrell also, threw and landed a lot of clean and flush punches on Benny too.

At second glance; The fight was a lot closer than I had originally thought. While I believe Benny indeed nudged it but not by a wide margin. I thought the fight was closer.

I had it more like a 7-5 score in favor of Benavidez. No Benny didn’t blow him out and nor was it a shut out. It was just a good hotly contested and highly competitive fight.

Both men gave as good as they got.

Great research, find and video my friend! So it was Turki Alalshikh all along who helped spread the rumor that the Terence Crawford/Canelo Alvarez fight was off.

In the hopes of pressuring Canelo to come back to the bargaining table in order to negotiate in good faith.

I just hope for the sake of boxing fans; That Turki insists on one of the four fights on Canelo’s deal include him fighting David Benavidez also.

For the type of money he is paying him. It’s the one fight that boxing fans have been demanding for several years now.

No, Canelo used the threat of a Jake Paul fight as leverage to make Turki cave in.
