He might be a "legend' in Cuba. He's probably going to the Hall. Let's be honest can we name 3 better pro cuban boxers in the last 20 years better than Lara ? I got Rigo. I cant name two more ahead of him in the last 20 years.

Niether of them are better than Lara. My point stands. Casamayor was good but he's not better than Lara. In the last 20 years. It's Rigo and Lara for Cubans. Then the rest follows. Now if you want to make an all time cuban list we will be here all night.

Lot's of people Don't No Sh_t About Boxing, Lara is 160 but campaign most of his career at 154 whereas Shane has been @ 168 but can make 160 which he should have to make fighting an old MF'er like Lara and I'm not taking anything away from his accomplishments but you just can't teach an old dog new tricks, in this case it's an ancient dog. Insane take, Lara has never been beaten up or humiliated in there. All of his losses could easily be wins or close draws. Mosely jr just isn't good enough to be in there with him, he is on the level of Cornflake who Lara blasted in 1 which would likely happen if this fight took place.

I say give Shane a crack at it. I think he deserves it. Lara should far and away be the favorite. Only strong pressure fighters give him fits. Angulo fight was close because of the knockdowns, and Hurd had him really wound up and tight throughout the fight.

Mosley, Jr. ain’t any of that but I still think they should make that fight and put it on the first fight of a televised PPV event. Maybe bury it on a PBC card or something.
