Now you just sound like a d1ck rider. Canelo is not the top fighter in the world in 2025. Get a grip you ball slurper.

Canelo is better than your favorite fighter and he’s the draw. Deal with that. You the one talking about him all the time and you respond to everything about him .

You didn’t hear clearly. Canelo is better than your favorite fighter and he is the top draw. End of discussion. Next

Just because you keep typing it, doesn’t make it true. What does seem to be true is your g@yness for Canelo. Stick to nut swallowing and leave the boxing talk for people who actually know what they’re talking about.

My point is very simple and clearly, you missed it. This is what you wrote “he genuinely believes he will win on his own abilities”.
How is that a reason for you to believe that? Canelo also believes he will win on his own abilities.
And I gave you a myriad of boxers who also “genuinely believed “ they’d win.
Just because someone believes so is not enough for anyone actually believe they’d win which is what you seem to believe.
I think you are arguing with yourself. I did not say I thought or believed that Crawford would win. I don't know who wins. You seem to be too invested in Canelo winning so anything which would even slightly suggest that it might be a competitive fight triggers you to argue against your own assumptions.

It boggles my mind that you are arguing against a notion that a fighter believes in their own abilities. Most of them do - until they meet someone who proves them wrong.

I agree he underestimated Madrimov but I don’t think he would do the same against Canelo.

He knows what he has to do. He has to stay off the ropes and occasionally back Canelo up in order to keep the fight in the center of the ring.

While using lots of feints and footwork in the process and lastly have them both randomly drug tested also.

I have a strong premonition Canelo is still doping and is either not being tested, caught or getting away with it.

You're absolutely wrong there - Bivol out-boxed Canelo because he used a superior Soviet style he showed he had better footwork, he put his punches together better, had a better IQ and stamina. This is the very reason Canelo declined the rematch at 168lbs when Bivol offered to come down for him because the same would've happened again but this time at Canelo's weight.

Crawford brings tools to the table that will trouble Canelo; his switch hitting, his punch speed and ability to change levels quickly with his combinations. He is also a very cerebral fighter and will obviously not put himself in unnecessary danger too much.

I think people are overlooking the fact that Canelo showed a very real decline in his last fight against Berlanga - he was noticeably slower and at points was allowing Berlanga to get in free shots as he turned away to reset. He is still capable of fighting at a high level still but at elite level its the fine margins which are ultimately decisive. As far as I can see Crawford hasn't showed any signs yet of decline, I was impressed with the aggression he showed against Madrimov and the way he handled him. I was expecting Crawford to lose tbh.
