    Complete nonsense.

Usyk just said that Fury was the best fighter he ever fought & this is the past his prime Fury, who almost lost to a UFC fighter who'd never fought before.

Wilder took the best version of Fury down 4x in their fights.

Nobody was afraid of Joshua, but Eddie Hearn was afraid of what ended up happening, which was his chin & stamina being exposed.

For me that's a whole lotta quacking on Joshua's part.
The main reason they went for the fury fight was that they didn't want to work with DAZN. Wilder was a PBC fighter and PBC had high hopes for him, Haymon wasn't going to let him go over to the competitors at DAZN for 3 fights, that was just never going to happen.

The 3 fight deal was a roadblock not a positive, if there's been big money on the table for a one fight deal with shared broadcasting rights I think the fight would have been made.

My man from the history section!!! So nice to have some intelligence come into these threads! There is this casual need to make promoters part of the landscape, as though they are aware of the finer points of these negotiations... Yes there is a lot of lost fights due to these guys, but trying to say fighters are "scared" really is a stretch.

But alas, you put it in perfect perspective above with your post. What we do know about the likes of Eddie and Satanic Bob Arum? They do not want a loss and will prevent such a loss at all costs... even if it means spoiling a fight by trying to marinate it excessively.

We also have critical thinking: Joshua was vulnerable. His psychological state included was such that Wilder would have had a tremendous advantage. How many times had we seen this with fighters like Bruno? for example... Whom lost to Witherspoon and Tyson in a virtual "heap?" One can even maybe sympathise with Eddie here lol... We all could see Joshua would crumble before Wilder. He crumbled the minute he got tagged by Ruiz! Who hit him well, but not on the same order. besides... If the idiots would WATCH fights? It is obvious Wilder had very fast feet. There were reasons he was able to catch guys, like Fury with excellent defensive skills.

Deontay Wilder has made a $50 million offer to get fellow undefeated heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in the ring for a unification match.

Now reading into this 100million deal, it's not exactly a duck the way you're making it look as the 50 million duck was from AJ. Per Wilder, he thought by becoming a free agent, he could turn down the 100million and end up making more eventually. Letting it marinate more if you will since Wilder was still a hot product and people were loving him. Unfortunately his gamble hit a wall when he faced Fury and it ruined everything.

So yeah, not quite the same kind of ducks and AJ is more legit than Wilder's was when you look into the time it was offered and Wilder's position in the heavyweight division at the time the 100 million was offered.
Daggum will say anything... Lol. If Eddie said it, must be so, like all the Joshuastans... The truth is nobody can know exactly what was on the table, what we do know is Joshua was in no condition to fight Wilder... It had all the same aspects as when Bruno tried to step up... We also can look at Wilder, in much the same way we can look at when Tyson was coming up... Sure the competition was not steller, which held true for virtually ALL the heavyweights, certainly including Joshua (who lost everytime he tried to step up)... but one could still see the fast feet, the punching power, the techniques, etc... We had confirmation when Wilder fought Fury. Usyk, bless his heart, also gives us confirmation... having fought Fury and Joshua... You will never get through to the Joshuastans lol.

I think the issue is that people trashed on Wilder and want to alter history after his fights with Fury. When Wilder and team threw the 50mill at AJ, Wilder was scary. He was knocking out everyone. He went to face Povetkin twice and wasn't it twice that Povetkin popped dirty? Like people were freaked to face Wilder at that time.

Sure, you can fast forward and look at the Fury fights or even more recent times and trash Wilder for what has happened, but at that time, Wilder was super confident in himself. When he said you had to be perfect all 12rds and he only needed 1 second, he meant it. It was on full display in the second Ortiz fight. AJ was shook back then.

Valid point, but it's worth noting both Fury and Wilder focused on building their legacies through their rivalry. Joshua's missed matchups might reflect boxing politics more than fear. The sport often prioritizes timing over fans' dream fights.

At the end of the day, Joshua is bigger than both cowards together.

I also abelieve Joshua will fight at least two top 10 guys before he retires.
