He absolutely deserves it.

First he was supposed to fight Fundora for the vacant WBC title.
Then Fundora pulled out to fight Tszyu for the unified title.
Then Bohachuk was forced to fight Mendoza, who knocked Fundora out, for an interim belt instead and won.
Then Bohachuk whooped Ortiz's ass and got robbed on the cards
Then Madrimov pulled out of a fight against Bohachuk to fight Ortiz

There's no excuse for Fundora not to fight him next. None.

and bohachuk was the highest rated at wbc while fundora was like #6 and really lucky to be offered that fight in the first place. then instead of tszyu - bohachuk for 2 titles, they gave fundora another gift. i feel fundora used a life's worth of luck to get that fight and win it. 5-6 things going your way is pretty lucky.

I guess I’m the only one here that is not impressed by Bohachuck. Don’t get me wrong he’s fun to watch, but he’s so damn slow and his knockdowns with Vergil looked like they were just well placed shots in between exchanges other than raw power! Dude has a gas tank for sure, and a chin other than getting ko’d by I think Brandon Adam’s. Honestly see the writing the wall and Haymon is throwing Spencer a bone here to keep it in house, kinda like you’re welcome but lose and kick rocks! Which is unfortunate because I like him and after the beating Ramos gave him I believe he belongs at welterweight. If it happens to be him tho, hope he wrecks Fundora!!!
