what is boxing to you though? there are many different ways to win in boxing. of course joyce didnt have speed or great defense. he still won. ortiz had all that and still lost to worse fighters than joyce beat which should tell you there are a lot of factors that go into making a good boxer. winning is what matters. not fantasy winning

Joyce has the better resume. Head to head i'd favour him by a little too if we are talking pre chin cracked Zhang Joe, Ortiz was more skilled and quicker (who isnt?) but Joyce had the size, motor and chin to eventually break down Ortiz, who lets face it wasnt exactly a spry young dude to begin with.
