I think Shakur had the lowest output in a fight

I do not worry about people who objectively think Bivol won. It was close enough I could see it. But as soon as the term "robbery" is thrown into the post, I disregard whatever comes next. Had Bivol won, it would also have been a split decision. It was a close fight, with Beterbiev being the aggressor for most of the fight and winning some clean rounds late, and Bivol being very active through some of the rounds and looking very sharp doing it. High IQ, very even fight.
Now some posters are grabbing onto Beterbiev's broken English to declare he "knows" he lost? Artur Beterbiev? Have you paid attention to this man and his career at all?
Bivol could very well win this rematch. But he is not running away with anything. Neither is the man I still think will end up with all the titles at the end of the night. Beterbiev refuses to lose. Not in his DNA. If he feels it slipping away, I expect he will respond the way he always does- with adjustments and more aggression. Bivol is damn talented and disciplined enough to find a way, but he will need to take it from Artur because that man knows how take the fight out of a boxer.MulaKO likes this.

Maybe that was true early on, but there were spots later in the fight where Beterbiev was hurting Bivol, and his response was to maneuver away. Now, vs Canelo, whenever Red landed a shot, Dmitri was sure to land 3 or 4 in return. He was careful not to do that with Artur as much, for fear of being countered.
They are not fans of the art of the sweet science of hitting and not getting hit and I get that.
Today, the paint job that Bivol put on Artur is called running. When Willie Pep done it. It was Picasso.
It shouldn’t matter how much a fighter moves. The only thing that should matter is how many punches he lands.
However, unlike Stevenson; When Bivol moves he is actually throwing and landing clean punches also.
Beterbiev only did damage once Bivol started to tire and when his back touched the ropes.
Other than that, I personally thought he did not do enough to win that fight because he only fought in spurts.
Not once did he ever cut off the ring against Bivol because he couldn’t. Dmitry was just too fast.
As Bivol was moving; He would land combinations punches that snapped Artur’s head back.

Bivol ran for his life the last six rounds
Master boxer lmao
Why don’t you show us and prove your point by showing us another fright where Bivol does exactly what you say
You won’t and you can’t because that is far from Bivol’s fighting style
But I can show you two fights where Bivol , the master boxer you proclaim him to be , ran just like he did against Beterbiev ; Lyndon Arthur fight and his fight with the Spider Richard’s
Coincidentally in both those fights Bivol got scrambled and got on his bicycle
Fighting off his back foot which he never does
Try showing us a moment where he does that with Canelo lmao
You can’t , it’s not his style unless he’s been buzzedSUBZER0ED likes this.

He gave away too many of those earlier rounds by not cutting off the ring and eating way too many clean punches in the process.
For my money; At best one could have scored that fight 9-3 for Bivol. At worst one could have scored it 7-5 for Bivol. However, I just could not find enough rounds to justify Beterbiev winning that fight.
In any case, I guess we will just have to agree to disagree my friend. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect yours because of it. Just because we are boxing fans doesn't mean that we are going to always agree.
In addition, it doesn't make any of us more or less of a boxing fan; Since we don't always share the same point of view.

I’m most curious to see how Artur starts. Majority here think he’s going to automatically press Bivol from the jump, and I don’t see him being that careless; Bivol may be hoping for that. Instead, I see Artur lulling Bivol into a false sense of security, and then going all in.
Whomever said this would more or less be a repeat of the first fight, I kind of agree. We’re going to see more aggression from both, but it’s going to be much more calculated, which may lead to a “snoozer.”
