I am not sure I am buying an idea that Haney will fight on 24th March and he doesn't have an opponent yet. At the same time Haney is investigating an alternative with Turki. I smell big time BS.

To be able to pay Haney a very high guarantee you need to be able to promote a fight against someone well known and you need to sell tickets and ppvs. That takes planning and it takes time. They have 11 weeks to that event and he does not have an opponent yet. How long would it take just to negotiate a fight like that? In the past they have floated names. Nothing this time. As I said, I smell big time BS.

I hear you. I just don't know that many people willing to go into an event like that on a short notice willing to lose that much money and KNOWING they will lose it. Bob Arum was playing a long game with BUD hoping to build him into a ppv star and recoup his initial losses. It never happened and the relationship disintegrated.

Even Turki who is spending government oil money and has a blank cheque for every event does not go into anything like this on a short time scale not giving him an opportunity to promote it properly.

blk knew they were losing money on bud and still went ahead with it they have other reasons for putting on these fights and its not making a profit their guy is a convicted fraud guy and the company has red flags as has b een reported on here before when bud was fighting
