Yeah but that was only one fight against a very limited and shopworn fighter. I am pretty sure that he didn't put in enough work in the gym for that one.

Since the opponent he was facing was such an overmatched opponent. Perhaps, he could possibly benefit from a nutritionist in order to make the weight a lot healthier.

If not mistaken I recall another time when he didn’t make weight , don’t quote me but I hope he has a nutritionist

I second that. I hope you are right too because he is definitely going to need one when he fights David Morrell. Especially, if he gasses in the later rounds against him as he did in the Gvodzyk fight. If he doesn't. Then chances are he will get stopped or knocked out.

Not sure if it was the extra weight or what not but Benny looked to be struggling with his stamina
Again his shots seemed to lose power as the fight went on and didn’t keep Gvodzyk off of him actually quite the opposite

Morrell too loose defensively and underdone to win this, I expect Benavidez to grind him down over the stretch and win by 3 or 4 rounds, I think he’s motivated for this fight and will be in top form

That's a bad sign for Benavidez. Unless he is able to hurt Morrell, I think this will be a long night for Benavidez. I have Morrell by a clear-cut decision or TKO in the late rounds.

Morrell couldn't even manage a clear cut decision over HotRod a journeyman but he will over Benavidez? Cool lol.

I'm not one to spread baseless rumors or take anything that happens in sparring seriously, but read twice (on YouTube and a Google search) that Benavidez got KO'd in sparring a few days back. Has anyone else heard anything about this?
