Did you by any chance witnessed his last performance? He sucked badly at 175. Moreover, I would venture off to say that Benavidez performed a lot better at 175 than Morrell did.

May the best man win but unless Morrell manages to stop or knock Benavidez out. I just don’t see him winning this fight.

Morrell sucked in his light heavyweight debut. There was an absence of timing, speed and power on his punches. Benavidez workrate and punch volume should carry the day.

I have him winning this fight on points. I cannot see either fighter getting knocked out in this one. Which is the reason why I believe the Mexican Monster would win.

You seem to have to have all the answers with Morrell, why not mention VADA testing for this fight? Benny has no problem with that.

Oh but I have, you can follow the rumor and read the posts on the right thread. And no, I don't have any answers, but when I post on any site I try to be honest and stick to facts, because we all like a particular boxer but I'm a fan of boxing first. First I want an even playing field for every fighter, regardless of their color and nationality, I believe the most known fighter should get more money in his pocket, still the fight should start even for both. Rumors are only that, rumors. Triangle theories rarely works in boxing. You want the answers? 02/01/2025 we all should have it. Be safe.

And benavidez was so bright in his 175 debut that blinded a few fans. I agree, may the best man win.

You got the timeline wrong. Morrell Jr wanted the fight, he changed trainers and after one fight with Shields, his trainer said he needed more time with his pupil, two fights later he said yes and the fight was offered to benavidez but he choose 35yo andrade, after agreeing to fight DMJ. All is good because they're fighting now.

I watched both fights. More than once. Morrell fought a fresher, trickier fighter who was backed up more than once because of Morrell's power. Benavidez fought a guy who pitter pattered until the eleventh round and was pushing 40 and STILL couldn't bother him in the slightest. I also recall Benavidez sucking air by the end of his fight; Morrell looked like he could go another couple.

All of this, of course, is a variation of the Triangle Theory and means **** in the grand scheme of things, but I'll call it like I see it regardless.

I’m in agreement that Benny looked flushed out in the later rounds of his fight which don’t mean chit but it is what it is saw also

Wanted it, then Needed more time. Then all of a sudden wanted the fight when HE wanted it? No offer from Morrell was made.

Again, where was that said? Got a link of an interview? From Benavidez or his trainer?
