    on the Flip side
if Benavidez can unify @ 175
    would Shiekh money plus Belt’s @ 175
be enough for Canelo to move up and go out on his shield - probably not
    Benny ain’t unifying chit lmao

I don’t think an “insane” amount was offered but Benavidez said he was willing to accept $5 million to Canelo’s $45 million. That’s the amount Canelo was estimated to be making against the ATG guys he fought in Munguia, Charlo and Berlanga while the #1 contender at 168 has been calling him out.
And your the one making posts about Usyk
      Lmao
      Ok then fangirl

Its disappointing because I would have liked to have seen the fight, he is made for canelo, he eats shots and is one dimensional.
So they told canelo fvk you, and instead of beating him into submission, he ran away. Yes, the perfect way to respond.

Lol benny just cant get the ginger out of his system, Boy should have never lost em belts, id say it once ,ill say it again. Talking bout 'insane figure' like hes some sort of big time ppv star. Cut the cap Benny and focus on DMJ instead.

Here is a better theory; But every time I come back to this point, I feel like he won't fight me because he knows he can't beat me. I honestly feel like he knows he can't beat me.

And Charlo disrespected Canelo before they ever signed and Canelo said that was incentive to fight him. So that disrespect stance is hypocritical. As is the case with any defense of Canelo. The guys is literally indefensible without looking like a two face. Can’t use the disrespect argument, nor the “what have they done” argument, can’t bash fighters for using banned substances, corrupt scorecards, missing weight, using catchweights, using rehydration clauses, ducking fighters as canelo is guilty of all of the above. Better approach is to just admit he’s a disappointment to the sport at this stage.

“To be honest with you, I really don't know,” Benavidez told BoxingScene when asked why he thinks Benavidez is yet to fight him.
He’s literally is being asked the question because it’s a fight that real fans wanted to see, so he answers. Just because Canelo fans hate to be reminded about his cowardly ways doesn’t mean he shouldn’t answer questions when asked and doesn’t mean he isn’t focused on his opponent.
As far as losing the belt for missing weight, Canelo has missed weight twice so it’s nothing to sit high and mighty about. The truth is, belt or not, Canelo would’ve avoided him. He only wanted to be undisputed after Benavidez got stripped and actually lobbied the wbc for the title just 2 days after he got stripped. Never before.

David Benavidez: " I feel like he won't fight me because he knows he can't beat me. I honestly feel like he knows he can't beat me."

It really is that simple. That is all anyone needs to know as far as the reason Canelo did not fight David Benavidez.

Plus Nelo knows that he has reached the type of stardom in boxing were he can literally fight a chicken a make good money..he spent the prime of his career putting in work against lil guys and faded champions to be in this position.
It's not about stages. Canelo couldn't beat Benavidez at any point in his career and would never fight him at any point in his career.

I also don't want to listen to any of the BS about him accomplishing so much that he doesn't need to fight tough challenges. No he really hasn't. He never beat the best fighter at 168 and his career from 154 to 160 is full of asterisks. He also holds the belts at 168 so he's obligated to fight the top challengers in that division. I don't even want to get into when he held the middleweight title but refused to fight above 155 pounds just to duck Golovkin when Golovkin was in his prime.

Even if it does that doesn't absolve Canelo from shamelessly ducking him. Morrell beating Benavidez is not Canelo beating Benavidez.
