Benavidez doesn’t have anything Canelo wants. Canelo gets his $40-50 million guaranteed no matter who he fights. Since he left Golden Boy he has Haymon and DAZN bidding for his services every time he’s available.

When Benavidez held a title in the weight Canelo wanted to unify he had a chance. But his own actions and unprofessionalism cost him that leverage. That’s on him.

Now he is a high risk low reward fight for Canelo. Boxing fans know who he is but the general public couldn’t pick him out of a lineup. A fight with him doesn’t bring the PPV buys to make it worth it. His own promoter stuck him on an undercard for his last fight. That tells you what they think of his own drawing power.

I think you got confused because Uncle Al didn’t have the money for red guy guarantee and they had to go a calling Dazn even though many of you PBC nuthuggers

At The same time it’s boxing fans who are left stranded for a ppv prices to pay for Canelo’s mismatches
