I don't really pay any attention to p4p, it's fantasy stuff.

Usyk is simply the best fighter on the planet.

But Usyk HAS to be in the conversation for all time P4P.

Sure there are lots of small boxers who went up in weight, but they would've weighed in a similar weight at least. Usyks isn't even trying to match the weight.

There's others like Haye who beat Valuev, but Valuev was extremely limited. Usyk is beating guys that some boxing experts had as greats (until he beat them).

Like I said, subjective, but what Usyk is doing...
Which guys has he beaten that are greats?

      Anthony Joshua? Dubois?

Tyson Fury is maybe the only one really.

Inoue doesn't have the contemporaries to really do something crazy. And currently is even avoiding the Akhmadaliev mando.

Crawford could beat Canelo I suppose.

He has been P4P #1 for years I don't think last night or Fury at all further cemented anything in this regard.

I don't think people realise how good that CW division was even a guy like Hunter who isn't in his top 3 wins at CW went up to HW and gave Povetkin the works and beat Bakole who we now know is a total beast.
Briedis nearly 40 coming off long lay off still giving the current CW king and super highly regarded Jai Opetaia hell. Usyk stood toe to toe with that animal at his peak and bettered him.

He fought pretty much every single one when they was at their peak and if he never it wasn't because he stagnated the fight or any fault of his. There is none of the ''he ducked so and so'', ''he should have fought X fighter 4 yrs prior''.

He is in a league of his own right now. The rest of the P4P list have some serious catching up to do.

For me, it's very impressive to have such a size disadvantage, and pretty much be guaranteed to need a points win that you have to be perfect on, because you're the B-side and road warrior for every fight except maybe a handful in your entire career, especially at heavyweight, and to be able to be that consistent, especially at nearly 38 years of age? And we've now seen conclusively what happens when a guy who's widely acclaimed to be very skillful and outweighs you by 55 lbs, tries to be the bully and big man in the ring. Should put paid to the notion that "you just need to be the bigger man in there" to beat Usyk. I hope he finally gets the respect he's amply earned.

Usyk is a HOF, no doubt .... But if you seriously think that Bivol/Beterbiev wasn't a better fight then those 2 fights you need to consult ... I put Artur ahead of Usyk and I would absolutely love seing them going head to head @ catchweight ... They both made 200 in the amateur ...

Are you saying you don’t personally consider Tyson Fury a great?

A lot of people felt Bivol deserved the nod over Beterbiev.
