Why would Benavidez get dismantled by Morrell if he's actually good? Does he have to be the next coming? I think a hard fight that's a good scrap is far more likely, and they're both gonna have their defense and chins tested. I'll be taking the odds on Morrell personally, if he's the underdog, but I won't be surprised if Benavidez wins either. Tell you what though, I think we know enough about both that if one guy dominates or finishes the other, that's solid evidence that that David is the truth.Comment

He didn't lose that fight. And benavidez looked worse against an ancient fighter. The guy, rod, came to survive and still fell the power. Please, I didn't watched live but I did see the replay and Morrell jr wasn't in any trouble against a 175 world class fighter in his prime.Comment

Not sure what you mean by that. Morrell is a skilled boxer with power. Benavidez is more of a known quantity, although I've always thought a lot of his success comes down to being the bigger guy, and we saw him struggle more at 175, and Morrell is his size. We haven't seen either much on the back foot. Lots of questions need to be answered for both, TBH. Neither seemed to have their power carry up as much, although they've had more time to grow into it, assuming they've really fully moved on from Canelo.

Well, we know Benavidez is good (he's not as GREAT as he's made out to be), but with Morrell, everyone seems to believe he's the next SRR. If he is, then yeah, he SHOULD dismantle Benavidez, no problem. But all we know of Morrell are shades of his past. We've never seen him pressured, by opponents, lights, or the big stage. I think how he handles the atmosphere will go a long way in how well he does.Comment
