Who had the better career Broner or Wilder?

I’m a fan of but you can’t deny both were hyped up to be the second coming of boxing, and both didn’t live up to their hype.

I'd say the Stiverne and Ortiz wins for Wilder were better than anything Broner had, but Broner did become a four division world titlist. Ultimately both guys were a huge disappointment.

In my perspective, Deontay Wilder had the better career. While both Adrian Broner and Wilder had notable achievements, Wilder’s reign as the WBC Heavyweight Champion and his 10 successful title defenses stand out significantly. He faced tougher competition in the heavyweight division, including matchups against the likes of Tyson Fury and Luis Ortiz, which showcased his resilience and power.

I will go with Wilder and I think his career and resume will age better over time. In addition to having slightly better wins, he had the trilogy with Fury. He didn't win any of the fights but they were violent wars and he went out on his shield.

Wilder always tried to win even if he was outclassed, Broner would merely opt out and try to survive. He never went out on his shield, he would just turtle up and implicitly surrender.

How will it age well? None of the guys he beat went on to do anything. It's only been a couple years and already people are starting to realize wow besides ortiz there is nothing there.

Wilder and his hype were based on what he could or would do when he matched up with the better fighters, we saw what happened. Loss after loss. I suppose its possible his loyalist fans will carry the torch for him but people without emotional investment will see a slim resume and lots of soft defenses before being exposed.
