Knocked down??? I thought he got Knocked out....Anyway i gave him credit for overcoming adversity because he got KO in 52 seconds, Not in 5 to 6 rounds but in 52 secs by a virtual unknown at the time.
And instead of hiding he went back to work and his promoters work harder behind the scene to get him bigger name to enhance his opportunity, He has a big name for a prospect so everyone is gunnign for him and some people wanted him to fail so for him to win a belt while fighting the likes Kotelnik makes it in my book.Comment

Yeah he got knocked out, but the guy was talking as if he failed the first time he faced adversity, when the truth is that he came back to win in 3 different fights after being knocked down. Limond, Gomez and another one I don't remember the name of at the moment.Knocked down??? khan is a great fighter but wheather he can beat the elite fighters is a big question becuase of his chin.he has improved loads under his new trianing regime and coach roach.he has been down and also he has been knocked out and hes come back stronger, that is a sign of a good fighter with heart and grit.there has been other good fighters without having a great chin and have gone on too have great careers.manny got knocked out earlier in his career and look at him now,a living legand, remember tito triandad never had a great chin but look at his career.please dont think im comparing khan to these legands but there just some examples,i do think people are a bit too harsh on this kid,hes still only 22 and he is willing to fight the best fighters in the division and we need that, wheather he wins or losses

the only bugging statement u said there is ''khan a great fighter''.khan is a great fighter but wheather he can beat the elite fighters is a big question becuase of his chin.he has improved loads under his new trianing regime and coach roach.he has been down and also he has been knocked out and hes come back stronger, that is a sign of a good fighter with heart and grit.there has been other good fighters without having a great chin and have gone on too have great careers.manny got knocked out earlier in his career and look at him now,a living legand, remember tito triandad never had a great chin but look at his career.please dont think im comparing khan to these legands but there just some examples,i do think people are a bit too harsh on this kid,hes still only 22 and he is willing to fight the best fighters in the division and we need that, wheather he wins or losses
as you said he has got grit and maybe determination, but if you will argue he being great now, is a big question mark my friends.... and it does leave a really bad taste in the mouth.
manny, when he had those early beatings in his career.... nobody ever thought then that he will be a legend that he has become now, it just came to fruition and it all added up to years of hardwork, blood , sweat and tears.
for khan, it is still a long way to go.... and nobody knows what the future holds, till that day comes, i'll stick by what i have said.Comment
