I'm not interested in getting to know any of these boxers personally. I judge their boxing ability by how they conduct themselves in the ring. I'll judge their out of the ring behavior separately, but understand why others feel different than I.

Unless their out of the ring life is felonious (Tony POS Ayala comes to mind. Used to be one of my fave fighters).

That dude had major demons and substance abuse issues... Wound up dying of a drug overdose in his 50s I believe, but he beat Sugar Ray Leonard's brother when he was still a teen. I thought I had read that his dad blamed himself because he was a mean father that used to beat the crap out him and his brothers.

It’s absolutely laughable to sue someone for whooping your ass in an officially licensed contest.

On a serious note, all it would take is one woke jury and boxing would be in real trouble. The damage done to the sport be HUGE.

I don't like either one of them, but Garcia cheated and there should be repercussions. His cheating put Haney's health and career at risk and I don't care how big of an asshat someone is, no one should be put through that heightened risk. They are both scumbags outside of the ring, but Haney is in the right on this.
