Andrade wasn't 154... He hadn't fought at that weight class since 2017. I agree with you though. Andrade isn't comparable to Morrell in any relevant way as far as predicting performance.

The main differences are Age and Morrell is bigger. However andrade has way more experience. Morrell only has 11 pro fights. I like the fight good match up but I dont see benavidez struggling with the lefty and I see him stopping morrell late.

Andrade was an old career 154 that wasted his career waiting for a shot at canelo. He got fat with age and move up. Finally he was offered along with Morrell Jr to benavidez, we know the rest.
ps. His only fight at 168, yes he got koed by benavidez. He had like 6 or 7 figthts from 17 to 23, all at 160 aganst 2nd and 3dr tier fighters, until a threat showed up at the weight . I'm sorry if I didn't catch your sarcasm earlier praising andrade.

Nothing impressive about picking the winner of any boxing match and happened to be right.
What you're doing is mere paper rock scissors prediction. Winner or loser could either be A or B, no C, D, E...
So if you're right with your choice, so what? What's the big deal? A or B, it's mere 50/50.

To top it all off you hate Benavidez. You've been hating on the guy even before you saw their last fights.
Nothing impressive about picking based on emotion. Of course, you'll justify the pick by peppering it with flowery technicalities, etc.

For years the majority of this site said Morrell had no chance against Benavidez. So picking a heavy underdog is impressive when you're one of the only people who predicted the result. Just put your money where your mouth is. Talk is cheap. Anyone can say fighter A would beat B, or vise versa.
Problem is there are no consequences in picking the wrong outcome. You move on and that's it. Anonymity keeps you safe.

Would be more impressive it you put real money into this. Go borrow some and bet online. Show your receipt for the bet and let's see what happens.

Just picking A or B is nothing. It's 50/50 chance as compared to picking one out of at least ten people.

I don't have a lot of praise for Andrade. I've thought he was overrated for years. He spent years avoiding literally every fight that was anywhere near big while bleating about being ducked himself. At least Tank Davis is honest that he just wants easy money. The only reason that Andrade fought Benavidez is that PBC didn't give him any other options. And I note that he's not fought again since. I will give him credit for coming to fight though. Didn't go out like a kitten, as Charlo did vs Canelo. But I agree that he's not a good measuring stick for how well Benavidez will do vs Morrell.
