Morrell Size/Youth- This might be the biggest factor. Benavidez has NEVER faced a prime fighter who can match him in size. The only people who could match his size were Caleb Plant(30 years old/previously KO'd), Gavril(31 years old/c level), and Gvozdyk(37/previously KO'd and retired). Benavidez couldn't knock them out. Gvozdyk was throwing pity pat punches the whole night and Benavidez face looked like he took an asswhoopin. Benavidez and Morrell are the same size and Morrell is younger and physically stronger. He won't be able to bully Morrell with his size like he is used to doing.

Benavidez Bruises Easily- Like I just said, Benavidez has HORRIBLE skin. Even in fights he wins, his face looks like he's the loser afterwards. Morrell is the hardest puncher that Benavidez has faced today and I really think Morrell is going to mark Benavidez up badly. That hinders a fighter's performance because after their face is swollen, the punches hurt alot more and it changes their ability to be offensive.

Benavidez Weight Cut- Benavidez was in HORRIBLE shape at the the face off with Morrell. He's going to have to work 10x harder than Morrell to get in shape. Being close to fighting shape year around is a big advantage that the greatest boxers have vs their opponents. Benavidez could get away with it because he is always facing smaller fighters but that weight cut is going to hit different when he's facing someone his size or bigger than him. I believe this is why his punches didn't even make Gvozdyk blink.

Morrell Boxing Ability- Morell will not be an easy target for Benavidez to just tag. Gvozdyk was a shell of his former self and his slow movement was limiting Benavidez from being effective with his offense. Caleb Plant had Benavidez swinging at air all night until he got clipped. Morrell isn't as slick as Caleb but he has way more speed than Gvozdyk did.

I think alot of you are about to be suprised at how Morrell is able to handle Benavidez. I have Morrell by KO inside 10 rounds
A good chance he does ko him. but just remember the judges and ref will be against the cuban

More money with Benny. Morrell HAS to KO him or leave no room for error if he wants a decision.

Leaning towards Benavidez here. I thought Morrell lost his last fight.

Benavidez already beat up a strong athletic southpaw (andrade) . Benavidez TKO late rounds.

This fight is a complete toss-up. Neither guy really impressed me in their last fights. Both guys will most likely end up going back down to 168 because I think Bivol wins his fight and we get a trilogy there.Nothing for either guy to do at LHW when the champs are all tied up

                    Oye puta pestosa.

I call it a 50/50 fight, but beaten badly?

I'll take that bet. Loser leaves for good.

                    Put up or stfu

This could be Morrell's coming out party or where he can get exposed. IMO David has to take him to the deep and then drown him. David is not simply an offensive fighter and the pressure can show up in the later rounds.
