Disappointing tbh. I suppose they can use it as a measuring stick for Inoue but was hoping for a more meaningful fight for Nick.

Probably the same reason Spence is, and Rolly did.

he gets not one but two title shots out of nothing. boots should hire doheny's management . absolute garbage of a title fight. total random matchmaking.

I dont think it's a terrible measuring stick fight for him. As a fan nah As his manager yes.

That's where I would be at with it lol

I may get hate for this, but I have no issue with a guy winning a belt and taking a fight or so before unifying. They get some much needed cash and we build some mystique lol voluntary/mandatory/unify sounds pretty good to me.

Tbh I think he's past the level of Doheny. He arguably beat Rey Vargas. Beat Ray ford. Beat rios comfortably last time out. Doheny was a decent super bantamweight a few years back but he's like 37 and coming off knock out loss. I just feel like there's better fights out there, I mean if they wanna build the guy and sell tickets with a standard defense then why not have him face Jazza in a all liverpool clash.
