Benn ran from Ekow Essumann & Avaneseyan like a hare from a hound at 147. Do you really think he'll seek out contenders at 154? So Benn can only fight CEJ if CEJ accepts it. I would have more respect for CEJ if he tells Conor Benn to put his offer .....
I never said Benn is innocent.

I said he's had two hearings with UKAD and has been cleared, which he has.

Whether he's innocent is another matter entirely.

Why would you think he can't make 147? I would have thought he could, and likely easily could.

I had this plumber come round, looked at it, said you have to contact your Water Authority. Sent me a £100 bill. I said 'you remind me off a pelican' he said 'how am I like a pelican?' I said, you can stick your bill right up your ass.

OK, lets see, I don't think we'll see Benn at 147 again, but I could be wrong. If Benn can make 147 let him fight Avaneseyan!

Yeah, but, why? What makes you say that?

And I agree with him fighting Avanesyan but Benn has already blatantly ducked Avaneseyan once. I highly doubt he takes that fight.

Every time a thread comes up about Benn there are numerous comments and pages.

RIght or wrong, the man is a big name in the sport... Everyone is paying attention...

Perfect time for a cash out before he loses to a no name. And let's face it - most will watch - even if just to see Conor get his head bashed in.

Benn and Hearn both know he's garbage and somehow sneaked his way onto world level. Hearn is just prostituting his name at this point trying to fight a buyer.

I think people are missing the point here. It’s all about money.

Doesn’t matter if he deserves a shot. Doesn’t matter if it’s a cash out or not. Doesn’t matter if he got caught for PEDS.

The cancellation of the Eubanks fight at short notice was massive news certainly in the uk which realistically is where it’s going to make the money. Doesn’t matter if US fans aren’t interested in the fight as it doesn’t need their buy in to make millions. It’s a stadium fight in the UK and will generate an 80,000 gate easily. No publicity is bad publicity. All those disappointed people will pay again just to watch him loose.

Same with Barrios fight. Like it or not Benn has achieved notoriety beyond his worth as a fighter. That sells whether you like it or not. Mayweather made a career out of people buying his fights to see him loose.

Eubank has already lost recently but it’s made no difference to the marketability of the Benn fight. It’ll be the same with Benn and Barrios. The Eubank fight will still be there regardless. From Ben’s point of view why take it now? He’s the younger, smaller fighter, make Eubank wait and age.

Since his run-in with the authorities Conor has had 2 fights & weighed over 154 for both of them. Now, I appreciate, you have made the subtle & correct point that Benn is not necessarily innocent of doping but has not been proved guilty. Which I accept, but since the VADA 'incident' he hasn't come close to making 147. Can he make that weight clean? I'm doubtful.

'Benn has already blatantly ducked Avaneseyan once. I highly doubt he takes that fight'.

Firstly, Benn had a lot of options when he ducked Avaneseyan &, indeed, Essumann, then. He has a lot fewer options now. Also, the option now is Avaneseyan after being beaten down by Crawford. He almost certainly is not the same man he was before Terence did what Terence does to MoFos. Will Benn duck him again? Probably, yes, but I could see the fight happening.
