Looks like it's s**t of git off da pot time for a lot of guys if they want those big Saudi checks. This is good. This card will surpass even those old Don King mega cards from the 90s that featured Chavez and Trinidad.

Still all rumor level, but IF they all come true it certainly will be an impressive card.

This embodies most of what American boxing is about. Young black vs young Mex-Amer. The winner goes on to superstardom and the loser is a pariah in their community. This should be a headliner in Vegas or LA. No doubt Oscar and PBC would want this on PPV. Although I would like to see it on Prime I understand the business of boxing. To have this fight in Saudi will do great harm to our sport.
And this "most anticipated American fight" wasn't even close to materializing until Saudi butt in. To me the bigger issue is that it seems like none of those so-called major American promoters are willing to cough up enough money to have the fighters agree on the fight to have it in America. Keep in mind that the choices aren't whether it is better for the sport to have the fights in Saudi or Vegas. It is whether it is better for the sport to have it in Saudi or not have it occur at all.

If what you wrote about Ortiz being competitive on a championship level, how do you explain him fight Dulorme in 2024 which is 4 years after Boots had KO’d Dulorne? Didn’t Ortiz need better opponents to look good too or is he exempted from the same scrutiny Boots gets?

Turki is a billionaire and Saudi Arabia is paying for all these fights. The same exact way Saudi Arabia is paying hundreds of millions of dollars to soccer players to lure them away from Europe.
The same exact away they’re also paying tens of millions to get golf into Saudi Arabia.

So, Turki is not losing a wink of sleep over money. The same exact way celebrities pay millions of dollars for painting that aren’t worth shït.

          It’s called fũck yöu money.
I don't have to explain Ortiz's every fight. For what purpose? Ortiz getting used to the new weight without fighting a killer straight up. Simple.
They all have easy fights. All I am saying is that Ortiz has proven himself at a higher level. Boots hasn't yet.

I never suggested that Turki does not have F<ck you money and can do what he likes. I am not sure why you are trying to pick an argument when there isn't one.

its a great fight if it happens

if its good these guys could do a trilogy

presume the bumped up purse oiled the wheels if it does come off

If its a good fight then I'd rather have the winner fight Murtazaliev given that its quite obvious Crawford is on vacation until next summer and Fundora-Spence isn't fighting until next spring at this rate PBC is dragging.

I’ll believe it when I see them in the ring
                Both have turned away fights
One for medical reasons and the other cause the opponent is not on his level

It's not news until there's contracts signed on both sides.
