That would be one heck of a stacked card. Goodness.

I’ve been wanting Ennis/Ortiz since 147. One of the best fights that can be made in ‘25.

They all have easy fights. All I am saying is that Ortiz has proven himself at a higher level. Boots hasn't yet.

I never suggested that Turki does not have F<ck you money and can do what he likes. I am not sure why you are trying to pick an argument when there isn't one.

The tone of your post implies it all. But you are right, it’s nothing to argue about.

How about we do hypotheticals? If this fight does actually happen and Boots knocks off Ortiz, will you still say Ortiz has “proven himself”?

Promoters can’t pay that kind of money and then have a successful show

That’s partly true but American promoters do underpay their fighters when they actually can pay more. They are all millionaires.
Donkey King and Bob the grifter have never laced boxing gloves yet they are multi millionaires. Both have been sued by practically all their fighters.

Promoters should never make more money than fighters. A promoter is like an agent who typically gets 10%. That’s what they should get. I’d push comes to shove then no more than 20%

I’ll take that bet. I got Boots by KO in 11 rounds.

If Boots had KOd Karen Ortiz wouldn't be in the picture. Eddy would exploit that ko, wear it out before another test. Alas Boots stunk enough for Eddy to cash out. There's no more money in Boots vs Mr Magoo.

I agree that promoters are not fair when it comes to finances but realize they are the ones putting up the money ( especially as of late ) and they are the ones taking the risk when it comes to financial success
That is why they’re are no more small promoters and unfortunately have jump into bed with the millionaires you speak of

Great fight, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I honestly don't know who is going to win and it is a good possibility that Boots could win by KO. At this point in time, I believe Ortiz is more proven, but that does not exclude the possibility of Boots winning impressively. Boots has a lot of talent and a lot of promise but has not been tested yet. If the fight happens both of their chins will be tested as it would appear both are fairly easy to hit.
