Both guys can win that fight, it's a 50-50. Lopez did slightly better against Loma than Devin did. Nice high level match up.

Isn't Teo supposed to fight Ryan sometime in April??? Anyhow, if Teo/Haney does happen, I'll take Haney by decision.

And Haney did way better than Lopez did against the Aussie but have to also take into account that Lopez had issues going in but yeah, a 50/50 fight.

Neither fighter has a large fan base, but both of them have huge purse demands, so in my opinion, the only way this fight gets made is if uncle Turki stumps up the cash because he wants to watch it for his personal enjoyment. No way they sell enough ppvs to pay for the fighters without a Saudi cash injection.

At one point; This fight was a boxing fan’s dream. However, it has lost a lot of his luster. However, still an intriguing fight.

Well your hour has come Teo. It’s now time to either put or shut up. You have a ruined fighter in front of you now.

It’s time to prove yourself. I pick Teo as the easy favorite to win. So let’s see what he’s got.

The time for talking is over. It’s now time to fight.

In comparison, Lopez’s only loss was a narrow SD defeat which he bounced back from to capture another world title in a new weight class.
I don’t entirely disagree with you but you are wrong about Teo following his Kambosos’ loss. His injuries were a lot more serious than we thought.

They were a lot more serious than Haney’s injuries following his loss to Ryan Garcia who was hopped up on banned substances.

If my memory serves me correctly. Teofimo Lopez, Jr spent more than a month in the hospital recovering after his fight with George Kambosos, Jr.

I like it and it can sell. The rest of the top guys in this division tip toe around Lopez like he doesn’t exist. I have Lopez winning. He’s head and shoulders above everyone in the division.

This isn't really a good comparison, since Loma was injured vs Lopez and gave away the first half of the fight, while Haney came in 25 lbs heavier and should have lost. Lopez also nearly died fighting Kambosos with pneumomediastinum, so the comparisons don't mean much. Has Haney learned to keep his hands up? That's, to me, a bigger issue than Lopez being absolutely terrible at cutting the ring, because Haney isn't exactly a king of movement. He relies more on hugging. I get the feeling he doesn't even spar bigger guys, let alone fight them, so his distance sense is way off fighting guys his own size. He should be sparring super middleweights in camp just to get a sense for how he'll have to fight when he can't be a weight bully.
