I had Madrimov beating Crawford by a round. Could've gone either way but Madrimov was never getting a decision really.

Put it this way, Crawford couldn't beat Madrimov 10 times out of 10, it would be pretty even.

Boots would get whooped by Madrimov as it stands. Madrimov is excellent. If Crawford is elite, then Madrimov is right up there too.

You are absolutely correct. Bud is more skilled. My only point was that Bud is a very accurate counter puncher; Who is more comfortable when his opponents are taking the lead.

He is neither as reckless or take as many risks as Ennis in the ring. He is a lot more laid back and reserved. Whereas, Boots is the total opposite.

He’s a fighter who is more comfortable when taking the lead. Which would leave him more vulnerable and susceptible to Madrimov counters.

Who like Crawford is another good counterpuncher.

Madrimov has gone from being underrated to overrated and I'd maybe even understand it a little if he fought really well or made adjustments but the reality is it was little more than a staring contest.

People will act like it was some super high skill level that you're too casual to understand but it was just poor all round and neither really did anything. I mean I am assuming its based on his fight with Crawford as very few rated him at all prior and if you never I don't know how you can come away from the Crawford fight with such a vastly different opinion even if it was a close fight.

I get the feeling people have ONLY watched Madrimov v Crawford, and not his other fights. The way he fought v Bud was different than the way he fights other guys. There's no guarantee he'd have the same gameplan vs Boots. Honestly he seems very like Boots. He's a switch hitter with good power in hands. He's usually walking guys down though. I think he's probably a little slower and less sharp than Boots, and Boots is huge. Boots would have 1.5" of height and a massive 7" reach advantage. When you've got a speed and reach advantage, that's a very difficult thing for even a skilled fighter to address, and even worse if you're an accomplished switch hitter, because that opens up counters after moves that other fighters can't do. Madrimov has more in the feint tool box, and is a pretty complete fighter, so I think that's a tough night for both guys. I will say we'd get real answers about both from that fight. I'd be curious to see Boots vs Michel Soro, if he doesn't want to jump straight to Madrimov.
