The reason people think Ortiz is able to beat Boots is the fact that the guys Ortiz is beating are better than Boots. One of them dropped the Craw and the other was a hard boiled Russian at 154. Boots hasn't done anything like that.

Ortiz last opponent Bohachuck was stopped by Brian Adams. The same Brian Adams peoole gave Jermall Charlo heavy criticism for defending his belt against. He is not better than Boots and Ortiz ended up going to the hospital after that fight because of the punishment he took. So it's a case of selective criticism.
