Forget 4 years ago, Tyson was a sad shell of his former self 25 years ago. This entire thing is a joke.

Set your expectations at zero. Remember Holyfield vs Belfort? Paul is younger, bigger, and a better boxer than Belfort. He's total clownshoes but Tyson is pushing 60 and has spent decades ruining his body with drugs and alcohol. It's going to be a sad, pathetic display no matter the outcome.

The texas boxing commission should be ashamed for sanctioning this.

There is a reason this fight isnt in vegas because they know the nevada commission is more experienced and more strict and probably would not sanction it

this fight should not be happening. paul is juiced to the gills, he gained like 30 pounds. his head is massive now, his head has gotten so much bigger the last few years.

i know my ideal outcome would be for tyson to ko him and NO rematch and just move on. But netflix has every incentive to milk this thing, they have a contract with Jake, they make more money if there are rematches or if Jake wins ect

tyson doesnt have reflexes and timing anymore, its gone, hes a 60 year old geriatric. Jake showed no power with Tommy furry and couldnt hurt him beside a flash knockdown because tommy saw everything coming and rolled with the punches. the problem for a 60 year old is he doesnt have the reflexes, he will just eat the shot full force. Tyson has muscle memory and can look great on the pads but i fear he has no punch resistance. He would still have power too and his natural style is to use lateral movement to attack from angles. there is a chance he can KO jake, I dont think jake can take a full power shot from mike.

To me its whoever lands first wins, thats if its not even fixed in the first place

I don’t expect either man to really do much on fight night, there may be moments we’re a few glancing blows land but I feel these two have long ago agreed to not really go at each other. Tyson knocking out Paul would be bad for the Paul family brand and Paul hurting an old Tyson would be bad for Tyson’s brand. Both these guys seem to be using this to simply increase their price for pushing and promoting products. We may get an interesting first round if that. It’s Mike Tyson after all, so we don’t know if he will stick to the script if he gets tagged
