'Not quite! He was supposed to avoid the only dangerous punch Ryan has but didn't. Had Haney kept boxing him like he was doing in those many rounds he won, the failed test wouldn't have made a difference. Bottom line is Haney lost because he didn't stick to his game plan of boxing him and not going toe to toe. Haney lost focus and his pops is not that good of a trainer. The better boxer didn't win that night, the better brawler did'.

Try moving around a ring while another guy tries to stove your head in. It is very tiring. OK, try doing that when you have only permitted yourself 1 litre of water per day in the past like 7 days & have spent 6 of those days in a sauna. Every day, after training, you've sat down to a nourishing meal of a saucer of pasta & a shot-glass of water. Come fight night you will not be in great condition, never mind all the gatorade you swallowed straight after coming off the scales, which is actually full of sugar & rank s""". Now, to be clear, it is Devin's fault he crashes weight, it is on team Haney that he always wants to be the bigger guy, but he did the right thing & crucified himself to do 140. Ryan made no attempt to even get close to 140. Did Devin box poorly? Yup. Is what he put his body through irrelevant? You obviously think so, I disagree.

One last thing. Emphasising how Devin could not go to 147 has really brought home to me how exceptional a guy has to be to win a title at 135 & then at 147 so massive respect to Barney Ross, Henry Armstrong, ODLH (whatever you think him) & Sugar Shane. As for Duran v SRL, that is one of boxing's great achievements &, IMO, the greatest fight of all time - those cats were fast like lightning.

Getting multiple millions out of the cheaters pocket would actually feel amazing to me. At that point, when I'm on my way to the bank to cash the check, I wouldn't give a rat's ass what anyone in the public thought of me.
This just proves what a spineless scumbag you are. Luckily this country hasn’t been infected by the rotten culture of suing others. Devin Haney is a professional boxer who has been weight draining himself for years so that he could pick off smaller, older fighters. When he finally gets beat down by somebody his own age & size he runs to the courts.
only fanboys such as yourself try to defend him.

Now with hindsight being 20/20. I believe Prograis has somewhat soften his stance on Devin Haney after his humiliating defeat to Jack Catterall..

No, it was not the long training camp that affected his overall performance. It was Father Time. Jack fought him at his very best and yet he still lost.

Hopefully, the excuses for his loss to Haney will end. He needs to apologize for making all those false, defamatory, vicious and vindictive attacks against his character.

He lost that fight fair and square. In addition, he is right. Perhaps Devin won’t be the same fighter again.

Which is the reason why he is suing both Ryan Garcia and Golden Boy for the damages he illegally sustained in that bout.

He was beaten by a dummy who cant fight near as well as he can. He just cant grasp the FACT that Haney got whipped by HANEY.
He needs to wake up and admit to himself that HE HELP Garcia whip him.
When he eventually realizes HIS F-uck UP.
He then can fix the problem and then challenge Garcia again. Garcia will take the fight. Haney should win if he is honest with himself on his mistake. Should be pretty easy for him too.
I don’t know what everybody else saw but at least to me and outside of those three knockdowns

I saw the Haney/Garcia bout as a very highly entertaining, hotly contested and crowd pleasing fight.

For much of the fight Ryan kept fighting off the back foot. Whereas, Haney kept fighting off his front foot.

I thought Haney won more rounds by being the aggressor, walking Ryan down and letting his hands go more.

While KingRy hardly threw any punches at all. Despite those three knockdowns.

I thought that the fight was still very close. However, those knockdowns proved to be the difference in the fight.

Which helped edged it for Ryan Garcia.

Well now, that is bollox. MoFo turns up loaded on PEDs & the innocent victim is supposed to say nothing & put up with it! As for saying what anyone in England would do, it depends what bit of England, but if Haney had been from Manchester or Liverpool, Ryan Garcia wouldn't still be walking around on 2 functioning legs. Just saying.
Bill and Devin knew he was on something, but wanted that fat Garcia check. When someone that size comes in three pounds over, it's a red flag you seize on immediately, not after getting knocked on your axx three times. Garcia's arms were huge on fight week. I'm not Victor Conte, but I was certain he was on something.

Yeah, quite possibly they knew or suspected &, like you say, Garcia was so much the biggest money they could make. How does that make what that cheating, lowlife toe rag Garcia did OK?

You sound like you ride a small yellow bus and wear a thick helmet, mittens, and a spit guard. Its not illegal to drain yourself to make weight. If Devin or any fighter drains themselves to make a certain weight, the key word is that they MADE THE WEIGHT, you dumb ass! That's completely different than not making weight on purpose so you can be less depleted, in addition to taking PED's so you can be super fast, strong and energetic. You know nothing about boxing. You are the worst kind of fan. An outspoken dumb ass with a worthless opinion who craves to be heard. Go sit your 600 school 7:30 ass down somewhere
