Tszyu was concussed from the very first knock down. His brain and body endured a tremendous beating. I'm surprised his corner didn't stop the fight after the second or third knock down. He was out on his feet through much of the battle and him and his team didn't seem to even attempt a different strategy. His team has shown that they're incompetent over his last 2 fights. Terrible decision making and strategies. That beating was embarrassing.

His corner will get him hurt or worse. They should have stopped the Fundora fight early and gotten a no contest (or whatever it would have been ruled) and moved on...this fight could have been stopped at the end of the second.

What a year for Tim. That will be a long flight home.

Last fight they let him bleed with a massive cut for 8 rounds that left his vision compromised instead of just going for a TD and having him retain his title.. and this time they sent him out to get knocked out after being dropped heavily 3 times in the round previous where it was clear the the first knock down he took a concussive shot and he wasnt gonns recover

I don't completely disagree but even after that first knockdown Tim landed some really good shots that might have turned the tide. Murtaza has either got a very stout chin or Tszyu wasn't hitting very hard after those knockdowns

What a shame. Was expecting great things from him. Sad to see him go through what undoubtedly will leave him with some damages for the rest of his life.
