I watched it again and I am almost sure he was just so hurt from that first big shot that the corner should have stopped it. He was in la la land. Really amazed he was allowed to keep going so long. Even when the doctor looked at him, I could tell he was barely there.

He had zero respect for Mur from the get go. Really ridiculous. If he retires, not the way I wanted to see him go out. He should have been boxing and fighting smart, not trying to prove he could take big shots and win a gunfight in the first round. At least feel the guy out a few rounds. Amateur stuff. No idea why he approached this fight so arrogantly.
I think Tim was way overconfident. Before the fight he was saying he was levels above Murtazaliev and therefore he had no respect for Bakhram's firepower until it was too late. It is mind boggling to come into the fight and start a gunfight in round one not knowing what your opponent has. Surely they must have watched some fights on YouTube which showed Murtazaliev throwing fast combinations really hard. I guess he paid the price for lack of preparation and arrogance.

Tim shouldn't let his father come to anymore fights, but he to his beating like a man.

Murtazaliev throws beautiful, hard, fast power shots.
He might be the best puncher in the division.

Tim looked out of shape to be honest. almost like he didn’t take the fight seriously.

Well Tszyu, the big positive is that now you won't have to worry about rejecting Turki's offer, because he won't bother you anymore.

Call me superstitious, but maybe his dad shouldn't be at any of his fights. First fight the guy actually shows up to,and the kid gets the stuffing knocked out of him. Maybe tim really wanted to impress his dad,and was far more reckless than usual.

He needs a lot what he brought into the ring was more telling then what " he left in the ring " he left the truth inside those ropes he was not just defeated but exposed for his limitations and all the hype and set up men can not get in the ring with a fighter just how it goes. He looked so damn over matched even he will realize it and fight accordingly from here on out. he can still make money but he will always carry this and his last with him inside the ring the scars are there now no way of not facing those facts. Rebuild ? Natural talent is all you work with and that is lacking, can he cover up those things that hold him back from the next win ? Only if the opponent is less then him much less. Confidence shaken yea i think so.

What happened was that he got the living shit kicked out of him by some unknown Eastern Euro guy who could fight. If Team Tszyu knew what they know now they would have easily avoided this guy.

As a result; He has fallen further down the queue. However, he is still a huge draw though; Especially in Australia. Perhaps Tszyu would fight Terence Bud Crawford next since he has a title belt too.

However, I think it's highly unlikely they would take that fight. His Team would probably rather take their chances with either Fundora or Spence instead.

That ref really let him take a beating. Reminded me of Joshua/Dubosi ref. Something going on there....

Unlike most, I do not think Tszyu is washed. I think he did believe his own hype, and all his bad tendencies showed up in one fight he was out to make a statement in. He needs some rebuild time. Recover from this (head trauma is not to be messed with) and get back to the basics in the gym before he evens signs his next fight. Focus on an easier touch at home, and focus on the weaknesses. At this point, his strengths are muscle memory. He needs to work on the defensive side of his game. A win or two, he will get another title shot because he is a name that has some really strong wins under on his resume and he brings eyeballs.

I sure got this pick wrong.
