Olympic success and wins over Wlad, Parker, Povetkin, Ruiz, Pulev, Whyte, Martin, Wallin, Takam, Helenius, Breazele does not = "bum". He wasnt an ATG but he had a solid career and even the biggest hater would have to admit he did a lot for the divisions mainstream profile.

Joshua sure does bring out the passion in people. Perhaps it's because the promoter fed to the (largely boxing ignorant) media, who spun the yarn that Joshua was greater than Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Holmes, Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis and W. Klitschko.

In the end, what we all learned is that He was a step or more beneath all of them, owing largely to his lack of durability.

But he was no "bum". That should be pretty obvious.

To understand that better, understand what it means to be a top heavyweight.

Francis Ngannou went into Mixed Martial Arts as a pure boxer, and nothing else. What he learned at the MMA factory and Xtreme Couture that went beyond his boxing was essentially a crash course in TDD, Grappling and Kicking; and with that, he gradually surpassed the early and middle era stars of MMA like Shamrock, Severn, Frye, Ruas, Coleman, Kerr, Nogueira, Emelianenko; and came to dominate the modern era like no other; last week regaining the number one position in the sport.

              And Yet.....

When this boxer, with all his G.O.A.T. accolades and using the only skills he had in MMA that were exceptional; went into his first professional boxer fight against a top opponent who wasn't playing games and mocking him........He was brutalized.

              Joshua did that.

              And that's no "Bum".
