True. But I wouldn’t put it past him to have made some backroom agreement with David B to stop chasing Canelo.
unless one fight is all it takes to jump the line and become #1 contenderComment

You think more people want to see a rematch of a decent but not amazing fight rather than Benavidez vs Beterbiev which will be a guaranteed shoot out? I doubt it. Also Benavidez would be a bigger pay day for Artur, it would actually be on PPV and maybe in Vegas. It does not matter. Benevidez has not done anything at 175 lbs to show that he deserves that fight. Maybe after Morrell. Right now, all fans want to see a rematch with Bivol and Turki wants to see a rematch with Bivol. That is the biggest money fight for both of them so that is what happens next.Comment

If Benavidez has the chin. He has the right style to defeat Beterbiev because he would stand and trade toe to toe with Artur.
He won’t stick and move around the ring like Bivol did. No matter how many clean, accurate and effective punches he lands.
Judges simply hate that style.Last edited by champion4ever; 10-15-2024, 05:08 PM.Comment

Beterbiev is actually custom made for Benavidez. He will stand right in front and ****, but Benavidez is faster, bigger, and has better offense with his combinations, especially on the inside. I think he would smash Beterbiev. If Benavidez has the chin. He has the right style to defeat Beterbiev because he would stand and trade toe to toe with Artur.

The end all talk on the forum?

Before the fight I really thought there would be one clear cut winner that just runs away with it. Now I am thinking the rematch will be just as close and just as controversial and there will be 3,000 more posts on the forum arguing why their fighter deserved the win and why judges scorecards were unfair.
