Junior featherweight John Riel Casimero might be back in the win column, though questions about his professionalism remain. After two failed attempts to make weight on Saturday, Oct. 12, Casimero picked a first-round technical knockout of former title contender Saul Sanchez at Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama, Japan.

What a waste of a human being Casimero turned into. Pathetic.

Looks like he got himself a Japanese promoter.
Seems they're setting him up for the Inoue clash, which the Japanese audience would gobble up.
They want to witness their superstar smash him into pieces. No doubt he sells in Japan.

He missed weight by a ridiculous amount. There will be no Inoue fight for him. He is not a reliable opponent. He has missed weight badly on the scales multiple times, he lost a belt and got a world title fight canceled due to cheating to use a sauna to cut weight against Butler, he has lost his mind and kicked a downed opponent during a fight before, he has been accused of lascivious acts with a 17 year old girl. Inoue is a serious fighter, he doesn't have time to waste investing money and a training camp preparing for a guy who might derail the event in any number of ways.

Inoue is going to fight Goodman in Tokyo, then Akhmadaliev in Las Vegas, and then Nakatani back it Tokyo assuming they both make it that far without an L. Then he's moving up to featherweight.

Casimero is a real monster even with a rehydration clause and heavy gloves he still spark sanchez in just 1 round. Casimero-inoue will be a great fight.

Only the most devoted Casimero fanboys will praise a fighter who missed weight by two pounds and facing a generic contender pulled up from the division below and then gloat it. He officially cut off whatever sliver of chance he had on an Inoue fight that no one in Japan wants anymore.

By the way that "fight" was the final match of his current contract with Masayuki Ito, but judging from the furiousness he showed looks like Casimero is gonna have to go look for a new promoter.

Casimero must be one of the most overrated fighters of the last two decades. Just because he knocked out china-chinned Zolani Tete, for someone he became this huge threat to Inoue. He ran after Rigondeaux as if trying to catch a chicken, miserably failing. Plus, all the weight and outside-the-ring issues. The guy is just pathetic.

This flat footed loser can't even make weight, let alone cut off the ring. Done reading about his ass.
