There’s a couple other rounds that fall into this category but I’ll just stick with round 1 as that in itself explains the “robbery” sentiment

post the cards if you are telling the truth.

I did not find the fight difficult to determine who won, i thought Artur clearly won the fight by 2 or 3 rounds(or more), watched it again and my opinion from the first viewing was solidified .. I like both guys a lot & it is what it is

ill watch a third time soon and score it round by round this time writing it down

IMO, Bivol lost it in the last 2 rounds where he was visibly hurt and on the run. That's a two point swing.
Have you posted your card so that everybody can criticise it? Surely, if you are asking others to open their kimono you should be willing to do it yourself.

Here are the scorecards by the judges.

Artur Beterbiev was awarded a majority decision win over to become undisputed light-heavyweight champion and the scorecards have caused controversy

All three judges gave Bivol the first two rounds, but then all 3 gave Beterbiev round 3.
In the fourth round two judges gave it to Bivol and one judge (Pawel) had it for Beterbiev.

I remember after 4 rounds I had it 3 to 1 for Bivol and so did Chris Mannix but our friend Pawel Kardyni had it 2 - 2. So the problems start here already, which is why that judge ended up with 116-112 at the end.

And probably expecting the judges to favor flash over concreteness, as it happens more often than not. That's most definitely why he was relieved after hearing he won.

Neither man has any reason to be ashamed of his performance. I would like to have seen Bivol get the decision, but it didn’t work out that way. I thought he put enough force on Beterbiev to leave his ears ringing all day Sunday, but in the end, Beterbiev seemed to have landed the harder shots; he was the aggressor almost all the time, and toward the end of the fight he (very surprisingly) seemed to have more gas left in his tank. Those things are what counts when a fight is close enough for people to quarrel about the decision.

For Bivol to win next time, he will need to strike with more authority, stand and trade a bit more, and almost unbelievably for Bivol, take his endurance up a notch. He might also help levelize the endurance by taking the fight to Beterbiev’s frequently exposed liver. If I were on his coaching team, I’d suggest watching some videos of Lomachenko and develop techniques for working angles on Beterbiev to get past his guard, and especially on Beterbiev’s right side.

Great contest. The correct decision seems to have been rendered. Here’s hoping for a different outcome in the rematch.

Edit: The screener didn’t like the word b_a_n_g. ‍♂️

I already said I had it as a draw and I am a big Beterbiev fan

                  Beterbiev didn't dominate.

I didn't cry about the result

I'm sick to death of immediate rematches. Turkish gets his dress in a twist & his 2 new yes men leaches, ol fish eye's & edward jump on the Bivol was robbed band waggon.

Beterbiev won an extremely close fight, get over it.
Even the total punch stats per round had Beterbiev winning 6-5 with 1 drawn round. With Bivol landing 5 more total punches throughout the 12 rounds.

I had it by 2 to Beterbiev live thinking a draw would also be fair & by 3 on a rewatch noticing Richie Woodhall had it by 4 to Beterbiev.

There's been alot of controversial decisions in boxing, this isn't one of them, this was a close one to call & all 4 scores were fair with how close some of the rounds were.
