As with many elite level fights it was a close one, admittedly I didn't score the fight as i was many drinks in by then but got the general feeling beterbiev did enough by walking bivol down and constantly pressuring. Judges could have been better (but when can we not say that) and bivol could have won with different judges, but a competitive fight with narrow margins like this one surely can never be called a robbery

Lmao in Montreal he uses a translator because they speak French and he doesn’t speak any French actually. I’ve had a conversation with him in English he understands it fine. He’s not confused he’s actually very intelligent the guy doesn’t even really like boxing. I really like him as a person I just don’t think he won this fight and by what he said and having spoken to him I can tell u he doesn’t either

For the rest, he threw 200 more punches for the same amount of connects, and he was the aggressor for the whole fight, and landed the heavier blows, so in a close fight, this should prevail. Judges got it right, which is not always the case in these situations.

Most people including beterbiev corner disagree with you. You also ignoring the obviously bought Chechen judge. It was a robbery. Not the worst but still a low end robbery in a very high profile fight. I’ve watched the fight 3x now and the best I can find is a beterbiev draw. His corner obviously felt the same telling he needed a KO and going crazy in distress in his corner.

What’s Ramsay supposed to say? Ya we lost? lol. Just look at the corner as soon as the final bell. Look at beterbiev. They look dejected. And again you ignore the Chechen connection lol. It is what it is. Like I said it’s not the worst decision of all time I like beterbiev and I don’t really have a huge problem with him getting the nod I just feel like the cards were suspect.

And you're also saying a no bull****, no non-sense guy like Ramsey is gonna lift up Beterbiev after the fight because he thinks he won a really close decision in a sport where you just never know? Well.. don't know what to say anymore. I'm a big fan of Bivol, but he just didn't do enough in the championship rounds cause.. he was gassed. He was almost ready to go in the eleventh, but when he saw the finish line in the 12th, he got some energy back.

Nah just the Chechen judge lol. Like I said I don’t have a huge problem with beterbiev getting the nod my personal opinion is just an opinion but I don’t see how you can give beterbiev 8 rounds. I think that’s where most of the “controversy” stems from. To have anyone score the fight that wide for either makes it feel predetermined. And if you bet and had seen the betting lines pre fight the decision kind of confirmed that. But whatever lol. Let’s see the next big fight in over this one

The thing is, this was supposed to be a fight for connaisseurs, but with all the promo and money invested, it turned into a casuals festival, thus the whole controversy.
