I found it far more su****ious that Bernard Osuna knew Haney was the winner vs Loma before that fight happened, but nobody seemed to bat an eye about that. This is trivial in comparison.Comment

Theyre in saudi arabia and the judges are flying back to their home countries not russia

Wasn't it something like: "And [such and such a fighter] will be next in line to fight Haney-- oops, I mean they'll be next in line to fight the winner of this one between Haney and Loma."
Something like that? I just took that as Haney being the favourite to win and Osuna got ahead of himself and misspoke. It was live, it happens. If there's more to it though I'm all ears.Comment

I think I recall what you're on about, but if so that seemed more like an honest slip of the tongue to me.

You can listen yourself. This is an interview of an undercard fighter prior to the main event. You might recall also that the narrative they were running all week was that the younger, bigger fighter almost always wins vs the aging lion, and "does Loma have one more great performance to give".
That's a much more damaging look behind the curtain IMO than something happening after the fight when someone may have gotten a look at the judges cards but prior to the announcement.Comment
