Bivol should've thrown more looping shots they were all landing, be more agressive and work the body from the start. Props to Bivol to holding his own except for the last championship rounds.
Path to victory for Bivol in the rematch

Beterbiev got good chin last night. He's been down in his career but not last night? Maybe bivol was too cautiius? -
Upon rewatch yes
Bivol was too cautious
He'd be happy with disengaging once he scored what he felt like were enough points to win the round. This would allow Bet to come forward with activity.
Judges are harsh towards "negative fighters" and will reward who's seeking the fight when nothing is landingComment

Stand his ground to strike more
Juggle clinching with movement
Bivol has a huge edge in hand speed so use it. Beterbiev struggles to counter combos especially at range.
I'm not sure where Bivol's left hook off of a jab went. He had success with it early on. Latter into the fight his left hooks that were landing always came off of a right hand firstComment

When Beterbiev coming in Bivol should have looped that left hook over the top with eyes closed.Stand his ground to strike more

Beterbiev's pressure and effectiveness in hurting Bivol several times were the deciding factors. Bivol was brilliant, but only in spurts. Probably a draw was fair, but if one of the two had to win, it's only right that it's the man who mostly hurts the other.
I see a second fight going in the same way. Perhaps next time the judges will give it to Bivol. It's that kind of match.Comment

Bivol had the right gameplan of negating Beter power with fluid movement, if he were a true HOFer he wouldve pulled through on character, could've had the fight in the bag last night. Beter was 39 y/o man heavy breathing in between rd 6, crazy how he got that second wind in the championship rds.Comment

Biv landed 2 or 3 good check left hooks in the fight that would make the Mayweathers proud
Good news is this decision is down to Biv making tactical errors rather than his flaws as a boxer
Tactics can be revised to win more rounds in future fights
Biv did best alternating between standing his ground and moving
Running with the high guard allowed Bet to come forward with activity which costed Bivol
In a rematch Biv would need to win wide, KO Bet, or at the very least knock him down to overtake 40 year old Bet's decision over him in fight 1
