This is a myth. Canelo did have very good rounds in 2, 6 & 7 - the rest not even close. His "ring generalship" as his fan girls like to harp on about was largely ineffective for the most part. He was pressing forward but getting peppered by GGG's jab and was getting nailed with the uppercut repeatedly. The chit he was throwing was being taken on the gloves or slipped apart from in the above mentioned rounds and a few other occasions. Golovkin's ram rod power jab was a constant throughout. It's also funny how the 36 year old fighter got better as the fight progressed while the peak 28 (who used PEDs in preparation) faded lol.

I will give Canelo his dues though - he absorbed some serious chit, I thought he was gonna go when his legs buckled from a left hook in the first 10 seconds of round 12

Furthermore, no one faults Hagler for not moving up to a division that started in ‘83 when he retired in ‘87…the division was 20 plus years old during golovkin’s run…he was scared of Ward at 168 but not small Canelo…triple g only took fights he felt he could win…a true bully but it backfired in the Canelo fights…

I’m gonna re-watch that fight…Golovkin has power so he should be able to rock Canelo here and there but he got rocked by Canelo too…and moved off of his pivot a few times…Canelo tagged his face up…the damage was there on Golovkin’s face…

At the end of 12 rounds both fighters showed damage but Canelo undoubtedly suffered the worse and deeper cut - so much so that his fight against Fielding three months later was in doubt until he was cleared by a plastic surgeon

“Look, my eye’s doing fine,” Alvarez said Wednesday following a press conference in The Theater at Madison Square Garden. “We’re recovering right now. We haven’t done any sparring yet. And if [the cut] opens, we’ll close it up again.”

NEW YORK – The cut above Canelo Alvarez’s left eye isn’t completely healed, but the Mexican icon isn’t concerned about it as he heads toward training camp for his fight against Rocky Fielding. Alvarez suffered that laceration barely a month before the press conference Wednesday for his shot at Fielding’s WBA world super middleweight title December 15 at Madison Square Garden. Regarding the main topic, GGGeezers best win(s) and EXCLUDING Nelo's name, his fans mentioned halfheartedly, Murray and some other cvnt.
Weeping some shlt about how most of his opps were "ranked"

His fans didn't hold his failed promiseS against their hero -
"He didn't really mean 'anyone' from 154 to 168. Everyone knows fighters say things they don't mean. DUH !"
'So what he didn't 'go back down' to defend his MW title. Lara wasn't a big enough name for him."

                3 tries and only a maybe W......smdh

Good. Post you score card by round of the first fight. We see if you are honest. Canelo has a good chin. No one has knocked him out.

And he waited for GGG to age past 35 year of age.

What fight at 160 did GGG not take out of fear???

And why would trying to unify your division, since Canelo was the champion at 160, be bullying?

And how is being a 5'10" MW being a bully.

GGG was a small to normal size 160lber. You act like he's 6'4 or something .
