Golovkin had his moments no doubt…but Canelo had more…and more head snapping power punches…that’s why he won the fight…Golovkin hit a lot of air…that was the first time triple g had to deal with someone who could stand up to his power…they both took each other’s shots…a fourth fight is needed…Canelo knocks him out…

At the end of 12 rounds both fighters showed damage but Canelo undoubtedly suffered the worse and deeper cut - so much so that his fight against Fielding three months later was in doubt until he was cleared by a plastic surgeon
