Nothing new here. Crawford has been one of the best boxers in this era but negotiations takes priority over belts and history.
He thinks he is worth way more what people are willing to pay to see him fight. He really has no solid fan base and all this inactivity has put him in obscurity.Comment

Everybody is spinning wheels going crazy because nothing in the Crawford world seems to make sense.
One thing I have learned by selling large deals to big corporations for almost 35 years is this - when things make absolutely no sense and people seem to be behaving irrationally, I don't have all the facts. There is missing information that when it comes to light makes seemingly erratic behavior make sense, all is explained and all the pieces of the puzzle fit in.
This is the case here. Crawford is not retired and he is not scared of other fighters at 154. He is planning on doing something but he is not telling us what. He has been in Turki's pocket for months attending large events (as his plus one). They are definitely cooking something big which will be revealed when they are good and ready.

How do you call it “losing $190 million” when the Saudis have billions to splash on pretty much anything and everything. It’s called FŨCK You money.

They have faced better competition than him. Crawford has wasted his career with TR when he resigned with them when they dangled a Pac and Taylor fight that never happened. An like he has been doing now failed negotiations because he wants to get handsomely paid. He is worth less than what the market wants to pay to see him fight.Comment
