In a fight like this with all other things being equal, I’d normally pick the younger, fresher fighter who’s NOT coming off an injury i.e. Bivol.

However, I’ve noticed during fight week there’s a visible tension and repressed anger in Bivol’s face which didn’t exist before if you watch his old interviews. I think all the sht he’s going through with his divorce and wife’s public outbursts calling him a wife beater, cheater and lousy father are finally getting the better of him.

In comparison, Beterbiev seems SERENE and unperturbed by the occasion and I think this will give him a mental edge during the fight. I might be wrong, but in a battle of 2 undefeated champions in an undisputed clash, usually the calmer more mentally sound fighter pulls through in the end e.g. Crawford + Usyk.

I dunno, man. I remember when Shane Mosley was smack dab in the middle of a messy divorce with his wife (who was also his manager at the time) Jin Mosley. He was also embroiled in a deposition regarding his connections to BALCO when BALCO was seen as unregulated.

He had those two things on his plate and on top of that going into a fight against Antonio Margarito who quite frankly looked like the Terminator when he demolished Miguel Cotto.

Shane Mosley summoned something in him that he turned in one of this greatest performances as a professional and most likely one of the most utterly devastating one-sided beat downs in boxing history on the big stage.

It wasn’t even a massacre, it was essentially a showcase for people to see how much Margarito could endure before he FINALLY started wobbling (late in through round 8).

Seriously though, I don’t believe any of those guys were in the same situation as Bivol i.e. undefeated champion about to head into an undisputed clash when those rumours surfaced plus social media didn’t exist in those days.

Perhaps the anger will work in Bivol’s FAVOUR but it could easily work against him. Time will tell.

Floyd was literally going to jail a few weeks after the cotto fight, he was already sentenced. Still got the job done.

Upgrade or not, he's a very rich man. She's obviously a good **** if he risked it for her and being a rich man, it's not like he's stuck with her. He can always move on whenever he wants, money and status allow it. He's clearly just enjoying a good **** until he gets bored.

Seriously though, I think his ex wife is hot but clearly a nasty piece of work.

of course she has a right to be mad at him if he ditched her, but trying to turn two little sons against him in public is terrible behaviour too. Leave kids out of it, especially in public. If she's using her own sons in public like that, imagine what she's like in private?
