I dunno, man. I remember when Shane Mosley was smack dab in the middle of a messy divorce with his wife (who was also his manager at the time) Jin Mosley. He was also embroiled in a deposition regarding his connections to BALCO when BALCO was seen as unregulated.

He had those two things on his plate and on top of that going into a fight against Antonio Margarito who quite frankly looked like the Terminator when he demolished Miguel Cotto.

Shane Mosley summoned something in him that he turned in one of this greatest performances as a professional and most likely one of the most utterly devastating one-sided beat downs in boxing history on the big stage.

It wasn’t even a massacre, it was essentially a showcase for people to see how much Margarito could endure before he FINALLY started wobbling (late in through round 8).

You raise a good point but let's be honest, Margarito was NOWHERE near Beterbiev's level when he fought Mosley plus he already had 5 losses on his resume. Also, question marks were being raised about his victory over Cotto and the tainted hand wraps. At his peak, Mosley was probably an equivalent talent to Bivol whereas Margarito was more like a Joe Smith Jr i.e. good but NOT great.

Floyd was literally going to jail a few weeks after the cotto fight, he was already sentenced. Still got the job done.

Very true but we both know that Floyd's prison stint was more akin to a low budget vacation with 24/7 security, no contact with other inmates and enhanced living conditions. He was only there for 2 months too

As for his wife, whilst I DON'T like the way she's gone about things publicly and leaked his medical info in an attempt to sabotage his state of mind ahead of the fight (which SEEMS to be working), I can't believe he's entirely innocent either. Almost certainly the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

I also noticed Bivol a little bit tense and Beterbiev his classic relaxed demeanour. This really called my attention.

I don't think he's completely innocent either

I just think turning kids against their dad in public is very low and unfair on them when they're very young. That's as low as it gets.
