the marge fight was not offered until after judah!! get it rightThe only person mis-remembering is you. When Floyd first moved up he fought Mitchell. Afterwards, Judah lost and Arum offered Floyd $8 million dollars to fight Margarito. Floyd took LESS MONEY to fight Judah for the stink IBF belt. Afterwards the fight was STILL only the table as Mayweathers last fight under Arum. Arum put no extensions on the contract. Floyd elects to fight Baldomir for "alledgedly" $8 million and 1 dollar for a one time fight under Goosen/Tutor. NOT TO MENTION he paid $875 to get out of his contract with Arum who was trying to force the fight. So TECHNICALLY, if what he got from Goosen is true, he only made $7.125 million to face Baldomir meaning he took less money to avoid a hard fight no matter how you look at it.Comment

and that same weekend, he turned around and lost to carlos maussa....u getting more and more ridiculous!should i take you serious? Ok, i will try. Lets look at history. Vivian harris was the wba champ for how long calling floyd out? And when he got on the podium and stated he had to defend his title overseas after calling him gayweather, floyds excuse was "i've never even seen you fight". So basically you are saying because kt elected to fight ricky hatton instead, floyd had no other options at 140? And when he jumped up to 147, collazo was undefeated, quintana was undefeated, margarito was stalking him, pw was undefeated, he chose mitchell, who was shot, judah who was coming off a loss, and baldomir? Are you telling me that at 140 and 147 mayweather has faced the best available opposition? Lmaooooooooooooooooo hysterical
Collazo, quintana, pw all prospects really when he moved to 147. Judah was the man, undisputed man after he beat corey spinks who beat mayorga who beat vernon forrest who beat shane mosley!

You are mis-remembering. The Arum "offer" came AFTER the Judah fight. That was the "offer" that Floyd turned down to face baldomir.
Floyd could not have fought margarito in the winter or Spring. HBO had teh early April date reserved for Floyd, and margarito already had teh ******* Gomez PPV date in february.
When Judah lost in january, margarito already had a PPV date at the Aladdin in Feb. That Gomez fight did 30K PPV's.
I remember well...and this is all documented.Comment

If WW had it. There would be no more arguments on here about who the best is and who should fight who. And, I think it would help boxing get back to being mainstream if WW had a tourney.Comment

That 8M BS offer cam after the Judah fight. He fought judah in April of 06 and Bob wanted him to fight margairto in August. Floyd said my hands hurt and i'm not fighting in August. Bob try to force his hand and Floyd bought out the contract and he been making a killin since. Then that BS 8M offer came, but it was a lie! Winky wanted it and they say he could get maybe 5. lol then he fought the lineal champ of the divison who actually won his title for 8M plus!!!! That is the chronological order and we been settled this yrs ago!The only person mis-remembering is you. When Floyd first moved up he fought Mitchell. agree i don't care what the ****in splits are. lets just see the damn fight. they both will make a gazillion dollars.I just wanna see some good fights, I don't particularly care about the purse splits... but if there is a reasonable explanation that something doesn't come off cause of it then fair enough, but I just wanna see a good fight... and I think 50/50 is fair with Pacquiao... fuck it, just give us what we want to see.
oh and btw... cotto and pac will not even break 1mil so get that 3 mil **** out of your head nowComment
