Floyd elects to fight Baldomir for "alledgedly" $8 million and 1 dollar for a one time fight under Goosen/Tutor. NOT TO MENTION he paid $875 to get out of his contract with Arum who was trying to force the fight. So TECHNICALLY, if what he got from Goosen is true, he only made $7.125 million to face Baldomir meaning he took less money to avoid a hard fight no matter how you look at it.

So basically you are saying because kt elected to fight ricky hatton instead, floyd had no other options at 140? And when he jumped up to 147, collazo was undefeated, quintana was undefeated, margarito was stalking him, pw was undefeated, he chose mitchell, who was shot, judah who was coming off a loss, and baldomir? Are you telling me that at 140 and 147 mayweather has faced the best available opposition? Lmaooooooooooooooooo hysterical
Collazo, quintana, pw all prospects really when he moved to 147. Judah was the man, undisputed man after he beat corey spinks who beat mayorga who beat vernon forrest who beat shane mosley!
C'mon son!!!

You are mis-remembering. The Arum "offer" came AFTER the Judah fight. That was the "offer" that Floyd turned down to face baldomir.
Floyd could not have fought margarito in the winter or Spring. HBO had teh early April date reserved for Floyd, and margarito already had teh ******* Gomez PPV date in february.
When Judah lost in january, margarito already had a PPV date at the Aladdin in Feb. That Gomez fight did 30K PPV's.
I remember well...and this is all documented.
